The Ridgeway Country Holiday Park sits in a quiet leafy lane on the side of a pretty, gently sloping valley, two miles from the attractive Cheshire market town of Frodsham and nine miles from the historic Roman city of Chester.

The park is bordered by the Sandstone Trail, a walk stretching from Frodsham to Whitchurch along Cheshire’s sandstone ridge,”the finest and most popular middle-distance walk in northwest England”.

Me and my 2 girls have just got back from a fantastic break staying at the ridgeway country holiday park. The park is in a lovely peaceful location with loads of lovely nature walks around it. We had an absolutely fantastic week. Thank you David and sue for making us feel at home, we will definitely try to make it back there again

Absolutely lovely place, lodges have a warm cosy homely feel, the lodge park is ideally situated to visit Chester, Cheshire Oaks, Chester zoo and The ice cream farm. Owners are very friendly. We requested more towels and within minutes they arrived.The lodge is surrounded by lovely walks and is dog friendly. Don’t be put off by the WIFi strength as this is currently being upgraded and will hopefully be up and running very soon.Recommendations for a pub a few miles away for lunch called ‘The Cheshire Cat’ overall a lovely stay and we’ll be back thank you !

The owners of the site Sue & David can’t do enough for you they have a beautiful family. Facebook won’t allow us enough text to put simply how unbelievable this place is. Extremely inviting, friendly and fantastic couple Dave and Sue that own and run the park with their dog 🙂 . Extremely relaxing, quiet and absolutely perfect location for the park…. THE best caravan we have ever stayed in. Spotless, spacious and that well equipped it could of been a cottage. The park is beautifully kept, it’s so very peaceful, not noisy, no kids running around, the owners and staff are very friendly and don’t bother you unless you need help. Nestling in a pretty valley, surrounded by beautiful walks, The Ridgeway Country Holiday Park is the perfect location to relax. . The privately owned caravans and lodges can be used during the 10 month season.

Our local market town of Frodsham caters for all your needs, from gift shops, tea & coffee shops, bakeries as well as various pubs and restaurants. There is also a garden centre, large park and fabulous walks.

And then explore!

The surrounding area has an amazing selection of places to visit and things to do all within a relatively short drive. Not just the three major cities of Chester and Liverpool and Manchester with their international airports, we are also close to north Wales, the Wirral, Shropshire and Derbyshire.

Major local attractions are Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village, Delamere Forest, National Trust, houses and gardens, Oulton Park race track and many more.
